314 Squadron

Welcome to 314 Squadron!

314 Squadron was a virtual squadron supporting play of the Lancaster Variant of Glen Frank's solitare game, B-17: Queen of the Skies. Played from May 2006 to April 2015, it covered the period in WWII from just before the Battle of Berlin, Sep 1943, through the end of strategic bombing operations in Europe, April 1945. The squadron would be preparing to move to the Pacific, when the war would come to an unexpected end.

This was just a game. Please take a moment, though, to remember all of those who were lost in the events portrayed.

I am indebted to Steve Dixon, who ran the 10th Bombardment Wing virtual campaign. Playing in his campaign was a pleasure.
