Came under heavy attack by Me110 night fighter just prior to the IP. Landing gear shot out, wing root hit. Hit by two flak bursts over the target, landing gear inoperable. Hit by Bf109 night nighter over the target, jamming nose and rear turrets. Autopilot shot out, and continuous fuel tank leak. Attack by Me110 registered further fuel- and oil tank leaks. Additional, ongoing attacks score hits to ailerons, landing gear, control cables and flaps. Fuel status now critical. Forced bailout over German territory; all crew taken prisoner.
