Goodness gracious, glad to be back on the ground in one piece. 110's got bad as we neared the target, last three zones as a matter of fact. Just about shot the tail off of the plane. Rumbold was a quick learner, got to where he spotted a number of them and got the first shot off, now he just needs to shoot straight. Target was rather difficult, took no evasive action to give Smythe the best chance to put the bombs on target. Flak was bad and peppered the plane. Wind must have been bad as we dropped on the markers but failed to get telling hits on our target. I think the pathfinders were a little lazy, but the flak was horrid, thats how I got mine. Lucky that the lads all made it back in once piece, Rumbold did get a nick, but he'll be fine as will I.
