O Orange II took off on her maiden trip with sprog crew. The flight to target was uneventful with an ME110 seen climbing but it missed and was lost when the pilot corkscrewed.
The target was well marked and the bombaimer put our load 20% on target. We took a flak hit which damaged the tail wheel.
Trip back to base was uneventful.
