Not a good start for Swoozie. Jumped by fighters as soon as we enter Hun airspace. We suffered a oil tank hit which shut down engine 2 and killed our tail gunner Mirren. Not able to keep up and still a long way off from the target, we jettisoned bombs and went home. Mission was an abort for us.
