Bloody awful trip, no doubt we'll be headed back on this one, eh? Pestered by 110's almost constantly enroute to target. Lost #3 two zones out and decided that since we'd gone all that way we might as well finish the job. Weather was horrible over the target, as were the Tame and Wild Boar and the Searchlights. Hit the target? Well, we bloody well put them in the lap of the Jerries that live there, as for the rest, well, who knows. Saw two 110's on the trip home but they did not press their attacks. Landing was uneventfull even with the autopilot having been shot away, rudder instrument damage and damage to the starboard rudder.
