We had some enemy contact in zones 5 and 6 outbound. We did not hit the 110s and besides a few holes there was no damage done. In zone 8 we got jumped by a 110 who knew his business. He hit a fuel tank and we had to bailout after the fire spread. We all got out of the plane and were picked up by Jerry almost as soon as we landed. Good luck with the rest of the war lads!
