Jumped by a ME-110 over Belgium, spotted him first and damaged him enough to break off his attack. S/F damage to the PW and SW. Over the target a ME-110 slipped in behind us and caused S/F damage to the SW. Sgt Reed our Mid-Upper gave him a good burst and damaged the Jerry enough to send him home. Flak was very light and no problems. Searchlights were no where near us as FO Mann lined up the target and yelled out Bombs gone!
With that Skipper put us into a hard starboard turn and headed us home. Leaving the target zone jumped by another ME-110 coming in behind and caused S/F damaged to the SW and Tail. Coming in at 12 High Sgt Reed gave Jerry a burst with hits in the E/AC port engine. Despite that Jerry gave us a burst and damaged the SW Aileron before diving to the deck. As we crossed the coast I spotted a ME-110 coming in on us and shot him down. No problems landing.
