Mission started out fairly uneventful until just before the target. A few attacks with no results. Then we were hit by an ME-110 taking out our rafts and starboard aileron. We were able to put 30% of out bomb on target, but exiting the target area we were hit again seriously wounding Charlie. Despite our best efforts Charlie didn’t survive the flight back. On another note we experienced repeated gun jams — we're going to need to work on that.
