Terrible weather for this one. We didn't see the 1st 110 that came at us in Zone 5. He hit the port tail rudder and knocked out the M/U guns as well as wounding (LW) the M/U gunner. Another 110 in Zone put 4 holes in us but no real damage was done. Zone 9 a 110 knocked out the Port elevator and disabled the bomb controls. Zone 10 another 110 came at us but the tail guns knoicked him down. We were not seen by the spotlights but dropping the bombs manually caused them to be off target. Once we turned for home it was very quite and we didn't see anyone else the whole way home.
