No sooner had Oopsy Daisy gotten within the enemy umbrella, when a 110 jumped her, unseen. On the 110's second pass aircraft gunnery missed. The 110 got two hits, with the telling blow a shot to the bomb bay, which detonated the bomb load, destroying the aircraft, and killing all onboard.
