Not a bad trip to the big B, we weren't harassed until we were crossing the coast into Germany. The new kid, Boothe, in the rear turret was keen on spotting the 110 as it approached. We managed to get away from him with out too much damage. As we reached Berlin, a 110 snuck up and put some hits on us. I evaded and Jones, the mid-upper, got a good long burst into him. We saw one of the crew bail. Flak was shooting too high and we dropped right on the markers. On the way home we were again harassed near the coast, and again over the North Sea north of Holland. Boothe spotted both and we escaped with no damage. Weather was spotty at base but we managed a good landing.
