There isn't much to tell. Halfway to Berlin, still over the North Sea, a Me-110 surpised us. He took out our #2 engine on his second pass (runaway, feathered). I jettisoned our load, slid out of the bomber stream, and headed for home. Another 110 surprised us on the way back, but that hit on the #2 engine was the only serious damage we took.
