Actually, a rather uneventful flight, except of course for our pilot taking some serious hits in the one and only attack on our aircraft. We think an Me-110 jumped up. Mike Downs, our new chap in the rear got a piece of him but not before he wounded Alex and our starboard rudder. We were able to put 30% bombs on target and despite his wounds, Alex brought us back. Alex will make a full recovery.
