Mission Report: S-Sugar
Mission achieved for S for Sugar with the target hit and all crew safely back home.
Jerry bounced us a number of times on route to Berlin however despite sustaining numerous hits from Me110’s, flak and a Me109 we managed to put approx 50% of our load on target.
Jerry hit us once more on the return whilst we were over the Netherlands but we only sustained s/f damage.
Our first run with no injuries, so the boys will be celebrating with a ‘pint of best’ in the N.A.A.F.I. bar this evening!
