S/F damage to both PW/SW. #3 Engine also had S/F. I got the bugger coming in at 3 o'clock High, giving him a good burst in the port engine and cockpit. Strangely quiet over the target area. We saw one ME-109 come in on us but everyone missed and we didn't see anymore of that chap. Flak gave us a good shaking with some close bursts and finally caused some S/F damage to our #3 Eng. The skipper and Flt Eng had a quick chat and it seemed no damage was done. Over the target we saw the markers and dropped are load for 30% on target! Skipper did a tight port turn and we headed for home. We did see one ME-110 coming in us. I managed to get some qood hits and he broke off his attack. No other problems as we headed home and tea.
