Hit right after we crossed the coast. Numerous S/F damage all around the wing and tail. Just before we came into the target area a ME-110 came in and even though Thomas spotted him he caused S/F damage to the SW and seriously wounded Thomas. Corp Reed made his way to the back turret and pulled Thomas out of the turret and treated his wounds and then took over the turret.
Nothing over the target area and we hand F/O Mann put 30% on the target and the skipper turned us hard port and headed home. Thomas recovered but he is going to be reassigned to air gunner school to teach the new chaps what the score is.
