A nice quiet flight for a change. There was some nice cloud cover on the way out that we took advantage of. One ME110 had a go climbing from below on the final leg to the target but our tail gunner spotted him and a corkscrew lost him. We took a flak hit over the target but all it did was rattle around the nose and poke a few holes in the skin. Our bomb load was 30% on target based on the target photograph. A quiet trip home and a safe landing.
