Well, wasn't quite as bad as anticipated. We were up at the front of the stream and didn't see Jerry the whole night. Hated the lower altitude for the mission, but the Jerry gunners were shooting high as we came over the target, only took some minor damage to the aircrafts skin. Put the bombs bang on the markers, told we got 40%. Very vigilant on the way home, very glad we had no visitors. I don't expect this to happen again, but, we're going to the Pub.
