Take off was ok-heavy clouds over the North Sea and Germany. About 150 miles from the target a night fighter came up right on our tail and was shot down by the rear gunner. We evaded another about 60 miles from the target. Over the target the weather was really bad … we were lucky and found a hole in the clouds … we went through it, dropped on target and went back up into the clouds with lots of flak chasing us. Got home without any other incidents. Landed Ok
