Well, being at the front of the stream was nice as Jerry didn't seem to know where we were headed. No attacks until the searchlight got us over the target. The Wild Boar was pesky, knocking out the starboard rudder, until we sent him packing with a few holes. There were target markers of all colors everywhere. We hit something, don't ask us what, but they say we missed the target.
We caught a 110 sneaking up on us after turning for home, sent him packing and in flames. In zone 5 we were caught by a very good 110 pilot. Never knew he was there until the #3 blew up. No matter what we did to evade, he was right there making swiss cheese of us. Buy the time we finally lost him, we had lost both the nose and tail guns. We were very glad once we got over the channel. Landing was a little rough with the starboard brake out and the rudder damage. 122 points
