Picked up by ME-110 just crossing the coast line. S/F Damage to the waist and port wing. On second pass our Bomb Aimer got him with a good burst and forced Jerry to break off his attack. Just before the target we were jumped by another ME-110 but this was spotted by our tail gunner who did enough damage to cause him to miss us. No problems at all over the target. Right on target for 20%. Though we had hoped for better results, the skipper put us in a hard turn and headed the Jersey Bounce homeward. Just as we were crossing the coast, a ME-110 L/W the Flt Eng with a burst into the cockpit and then he was gone.
Flt will make it in time for our next mission. Pretty quiet all around, Wizard show!
