Arrived at target after incident free flight.
At Target spotted Me110 tail gunner opened fire to put off his aim, taken one hit which damaged my port rudder controls.
After driving off Me110 avoided Searchlights and Flak to Bomb target and turn for home.
Our Alert tail gunner spotted a Me110 close to home and fired with great accuracy and blew it straight out the skies before it had chance to fire.
A nice easy landing back at base even with light damage to rudder, repairs done and no crew injuries all ready for next mission.
