Tonight's mission was easy considering we went to Big B
. We only saw two enemy aircraft, and both missed us. Over the target, flak was much heavier than briefed and we were hit by one burst that caused minimal damage to the Cindy.”
Even though we were hit by flak, Lt, Langtott was spot on putting 20% of out load in the target zone. Not bad for a first timer.
It was good to make the target and bomb it. The boy's morale is much better today.
