Zone 7: We were surprised by a 110, who got three hits on us, one on the port wing aileron, one superficial on the starboard wing, and one superficial in the waist.
We went into evasive maneuvers. Defensive and offensive fire missed. On its third pass the 110 was shot down by the mid-upper gunner.
Zone 8: Another surprise attack. The 110 got three hits in the waist, two superficial on the mid-upper turret and one superficial, and one superficial in the tail.
He came around again, and defensive fire missed. The 110 got two hits, one superficial and one superficial on the port wing. On his third pass, all gunnery missed.
Zone 9: We were surprised once again, but Gerry missed this time. We went into evasive action, and the mid-upper got an FCA on the 110. The 110 got a superficial hit on the port wing. On his third pass everyone missed.
Zone 10: No tame boars encountered. Searchlights didn’t find us.
Flak was medium as predicted, and got one superficial hit in the tail.
No wild boars encountered.
Run on Target: Was off, with 0% on target.
