Jerry kept sneak up on us from below, Sgt Philips manager to destroy one Me110 and damage another two after they attacked.
We managed to drop 20% of our bombs in the target area and then headed for home. Later we came under attack once again and started to lose fuel. We elected to stay with the ship and finally had to ditch. After a short time in the water a boat from Air Sea Rescue picked us up.
