PM008: A. Galbraith, pilot, reporting. Our second mission went a bit smoother, though the 109s were swarming over the Netherlands. Over Berlin got lit up by a searchlight, then got lit up by flak. Most of the damage was inconsequential, but as we were in the midst of our bomb run, not a bomb fell on target. Hastings was a bit disappointed, as he was dearly looking forward to bombing the Reichstag. Managed to avoid Tame Boars back across Europe, until we passed over the Dutch coast, but nothing came of that either. Our rear gunner, Leonard, got another brace, and is now up to four kills.
