AC- DD916 P/O Wilson, F/Sgts Chamberlain, Cavendish, Garside, Walpole, Johnson, Sgt Childs. Up 1714 down 2218. Dodged several ME 110’s on outward journey. Frankfurt attacked from 17,000'. Vis good. 5/10ths cloud tops at 7,000'. Target identified by red TIs with flares and visually. Light but accurate flak, Wireless Op was injured. Repeatedly attacked by ME 110 on way back. Returned on two engines, both on port side, and all instruments u/s. landing a bit bumpy.
