Our trip to the target was uneventful until after we crossed into German, then we were surprised by an Me110 coming in from below. The Jerry hit our fuel tank and we started loosing fuel, forcing us to return to base. On our trip home we destroyed two Me110s and just made it home before we ran out of fuel.
