Ran into trouble from Zone 5 all the way to target. Bomb Aimer Sergeant Barker was sharp-eyed enough to spot and send a ME110 down in Zone 5. Managed to fight/evade our way through with minimal damage but over Schweinfurt the anti-aircraft fire was heavy and accurate. In spite of the damage, Sergeant Barker was able to put bombs on target. During this, Sgt. Mostyn was hit by a piece of flak (minor wound) and his mid-upper guns were knocked out. Evading Jerry outbound, we returned to base.
Saskatoon should be ready for next mission. Sergeant Mostyn is patched up and says he'll be fine. All crew available.
