Back to Berlin which wasn't kind to the crew we replaced. Somewher north of Magdeburg a 110 picked up our trail. Lehning did a first rate job, damaging the enemy on his first pass. Over the target, picked up another 110 and Lehning managed to shoot him down on his second pass. Minor damage to the starboard wing and bomb bay doors. Spotlights tracked us after reaching the IP. A Wild Boar 109 started his run on us but Lehning once again did a fantastic job and shot him down before his first pass. Unfortunately, bomb run was not successful and the run was off target. Quiet exit and return to base but crew disappointed that the run failed to hit target. Just hope something of value was hit.
