Hit over zone 7 by unseen fighter. Damaged our port ammo track for the tail guns and took out #3 engine. After managing to feather the prop, we found that we were not losing much airspeed due to a tailwind. (okay … forgot to spend two turns in each zone, alright???)
Hit again in zone 10 with Allen sustaining a light wound from a twin-engine plane he subsequently damaged.
Over target area, spotted a Me-110 at 6 low which Allen shot up rather well, causing him to leave us alone.
Bomb run was spot on with 50% damage seen.
Hit again over zone 5 by another Me-110 with very poor aim. Nary a scratch from this bugger.
Another sneaked up over zone 4 and caused a bit of rudder damage before Allen exploded him on a passing shot.
Landing was uneventful despite the poor weather.
