We encounter jerry fighters about half way to the target. We were lucky that most of the damage was superficial to the ship with the exception of the port wing and flaps. Over the target we managed to evade the flak and drop 20% of our bombs on the target area. On our trip home we encountred several Me110's, they shot up the No. 3 engine and we managed to damage at least one of the three attackers.
