PM013, PO A. Jaye reporting. We cruised unmolested into the target zone. Got lit up by search lights. Me-109 Wild Boar made a cursory run at us. Flak was light, but enough to throw off our aim. 0% on target. Me-110 Tame Boar tried to sneak up on us on the way out of the target zone, but Osgood in the tail shot him down for his fifth kill in as many missions. Dodged a 110 on our way back over Germany, and had our #4 fuel tank holed over the Netherlands by another 110. Flight engineer Munson calculated we had enough to make it back to Blighty, and indeed I landed it on fumes. (7 hits, 51 Peckham Points)
