First mission for O Orange V with sprog crew.
Attack by ME110 at turning point to target resulted in damage to port and starboard wings and damaged the port ammo rack to the rear turret. Violent corkscrewing lost the ME110.
Over the target two flak bursts caused minor damage to the nose and an ME109 caused more damage to the wings. In the excitement the bomb aimer missed the TIs.
Two more ME110 attacks on the return trip resulted in more wing damage and damage to the tail resulting in the loss of the port elevator.
Managed to land safely. AC will be repaired and ready for next OP.
