A relatively quiet trip. An ME110 had a go at the turning point on the final leg to the target and we took a couple of hits before the rear gunner put a long burst of fire into the cockpit area of the enemy AC and it burst into flames and crashed. Visibility over the target was poor and a couple of ME109s made passes but we took no hits. Target photo showed us close to the TIs with 30% on target.
