PM013, A. Jaye reporting. This mission was, as the Yanks say, a "complete goat screw". We flew unmolested into the target zone, avoided any flak, and somehow managed not to put a single bomb on the marker. Saw off a Me-109 on the backside, then flew home unmolested … whereupon I managed to crash our plane off the end of the runway. At least the aircraft was not a loss.
