We take off for Berlin and fly on in good weather. A ME-110 attacks & hits us a couple of times. We hit the 110 and it starts trailing smoke. The Bomb Aimer finishes him off in a bright blaze of fire. We approach the target and have a clear sight. We manage to drop twenty percent on target. The fighters immediately attack, We are hit by fire, No serious damage.
We get clear and start the trek home. Another 110 attacks us and hits one of the engines! no serious damage. The tail gun gets him on another approach and destroys the plane. We are clear again and avoid further attacks, to safely land back at base.
