25th/26th February 1944
Mission Narrative;
A very disappointing mission today. Little over half way to the target a determined Messerschmitt bf110 harried us till he put a large hole in out outboard port fuel cell. The seepage caused by this damaged required us to abandon the mission and return home prematurely.
