We move out to Ludwigshaven. hopefully another succesful mission. we are undetected almost all the way to the target. A ME-110 finds us and we take a couple of hits. the Flight Engineer is hit, lightly wounded! We avoid further damage & move out to the target. and drop twenty percent on target! We turn for home and are attacked again. we take hits and the Radio operator is hit! another light wound! we draw a bead on him and Damage the 110!
We break free and fly on again almost to safety, we are intercepted again. a 110 hits us hard! the Mid Upper gun is put out of comission! We shake this intercepter and fly on to our base without further incident. We manage to land safely.
