MACR: PM013 observed with wing on fire northwest of Essen, inbound. Parachutes observed. Red Cross contacted. Acoustic & radio traffic reconstruction indicates likelihood of one German fighter shot down and appx. 50% ordnance dropped on target prior to premature mission end.
