Quiet until we got over Germany proper then we were busy all the way to the target. Managed to get away from most of the nightfighters, but one shot up the starboard wing near Mannheim. Flak was bad over the target and the radio operator was wounded. Bombs on target and the tail gunner managed to kill a 110 that followed us out from the target. Return was quiet and we landed safely.
