Tykhe Mission 55 AAR : Leipzig

Another quick one. Once again, we were still over water when a nightfighter came from nowhere. He hit the no. 3 engine hard — it started to run away, so I shut it down and feathered the prop, all of which made it difficult to get out of the nightfighter's sights. Joyner, in the tail turret, was wounded (nothing serious) and the bomb release controls were wrecked before we slipped away. Continuing to Leipzig seemed like a bad bet, so I headed us back home.
