Our quietest trip to Berlin yet. One brief encounter with a fighter over Denmark on the way in, which the rear gunner drove off damaged and another over the target,which put a few holes through us, none important, meant our new bomb aimer was able to put the bomb load down right on the TIs. A brisk encounter with another fighter on the way home ended with it going down in flames.
