Orphne Mission 60 AAR : Berlin

LeBlanc spotted a Me-110 coming up behind us just as we reached the coast. He hit it, but it kept coming. Just like last time, the starboard wing burst into flame and quickly burned itself out. By the time I'd shaken off the Me-110, Kroll had calculated that our remaining fuel would take us to Berlin, but we'd be coming down in Germany. Turning back wouldn't get us home, but it could get us close. Just like last time, I set us down in the North Sea and we scrambled out to wait for Air-Sea Rescue. I'm thinking of putting in for a transfer to the Navy — we've spent more time in the water than in the air!
