PM015, PO A. Kinchloe reporting. Just got over central Holland when a 110 ripped us a bloody large arsehole. Wings looked like nothing but spars. Flight engineer Nobsworthy also reported the bomb bay door had been crumpled. Not much point in continuing, so I turned for home. Got hit again crossing the coast, wounding our virgin mid-upper gunner, F. Strachan. Landed rather than bailing out. No problems there. Strachan will be back, but we need the starboard flap, starboard aileron, bomb bay doors, and control cables replaced before we fly again. Bombing Accuracy: dnb. Enemy A/C: 1 damaged, 0 shot down. Damage: 13 hits, 163 Peckham Points.
