The Real Pipperoo Mission 63 AAR : Berneval

Tougher than the ribbon on the map would have you believe. LeBlanc saw a big German plane coming up on us as we approached the coast. Fired into it until it went in search of easier victims.

No searchlights, no flak, no excuse for our lousy bomb run.

Turning for home, shells from nowhere slammed into the port wing. I threw The Real Pipperoo around until a Me-110 appeared in front of us. Took hits on the starboard wing, Kroll's oxygen, and finally LeBlanc's turret jammed before it lost us.

Once again, the starboard gear hung up on landing, so I balanced on the port 'til we'd slowed to nearly a stop.
