Lots of excitement over Hasselt. On the way in, shells suddenly ripped into the starboard wing. Maddox and Oak took shots at a Me-110 once I started twisting The Real Pipperoo around, but couldn't hit it. We were left alone over the target, but Maddox still couldn't put our load on the TI's. That's the third time in a row.
Turning for home, shells suddenly pounded the port wing. This time it was a Ju-88, but Maddox and Oak still couldn't get a hit. It broke eventually broke off, and we continued on to a safe landing.
Upon inspection, we were amazed by the number of holes each wing had accumulated without taking any serious damage.
