Weere off to Berneval, not much enemy air activity. a couple get through over the target. We damage one 110 coming up from behind. We then drop 30 percent on target. After we turn around and are hit by another 110. The Navigator is hit! slightly wounded. Tha Tail gunner gets a bead on him & the 110 is trailing smoke. The mid-Upper gunner finishes him off! We escape & fly back home, without further incident.
