Perfect flight in and no activity of any consequence over target.
God awful weather over Berneval. P/O Morrison reported that he could not see very much and had no confidence that he actually hit the target.
An ME-110 caught us off guard as we turned back knocking out the brakes to our port wing landing gear. Took evasive action and Sgt. Cartwright did a good job of seeing him off.
After this was a quiet trip over the channel and a tricky but otherwise un-eventful landing.
We should have done better given the lack of enemy activity but you can't control the weather.
